Fishing    Loch, River ,Rock. Beach and Deep Sea.

The cottage is ideally situated for a variety of fishing. You can enjoy fishing from the rocks just 100 metres to the rear of the property,from where it is possible to catch ,Pollock,Mackarel.Coaley, and other species of fish .There are several boat launch facilities within easy reach,including our own slipway here in Brough,for anyone that likes to go Deep Sea fishing.The waters around us are excellent for Cod, Pollack, Ling,Wrasse and many more varieties of fish. Beach fishing is also a very pleasant passtime on our beautiful beach at Dunnet Bay ,just 2 miles from the cottage. Here it is possible to catch Bass, Sea trout, Dog fish and a variety of Flatfish

Walking. Several good coastal walks, starting just 100 yards from the cottage.

Golf.  There are three good golf courses within easy  reach of the cottage.Including, Thurso Golf Club,10 miles, Wick Golf Club 18 miles and Reay Golf Club 20 miles

Local Attractions.   Include the Castle of Mey, Dunnet Forest  Dunnet Beach, Castletown Heritage Centre.
